Julienne Poplawski: That sounds fun; we didn't do that when I took Western Civ. Your board game could be a journey through a certain part of the world at that time. You could encounter many things on your travels and then you could throw in some stuff like, "Outbreak of the Bubonic plague- go back 3 spaces", or "Accused of being a heretic by the Inquistion-run away 4 spaces ahead", that sort of stuff. You could also include trading for goods, battling a foe, help a knight find their helmet, apprentice with a blacksmith, become friends with a germanic tribe...etc. There are so many possibilities really....Show more
