Ha Wolski: The Time Travelers WifeThis is a cheesy Hollywood attempt to transform a perfectly fine, if not very good, novel into a multi-million dollar blockbuster for the viewing pleasure of a nitwit that cannot tell how horrible it truly was. Based on the novel by __________, The Time Travelers Wife revolves around the love of Clare Abshire (portrayed by Rachel McAdams) and Henry Detamble (Eric Bana) that lasts a lifetime. Henry met Clare when he was twenty eight and she was twenty. Clare met Henry when she was six and he was thirty. How is this possible? Henry is a time traveler and has traveled back in time to his wife Clare's childhood. Of course, as with every plot, they run into complications. After an hour and a half of unrealistic gooey love scenes and obviously forced chemistry, you get fed an unsatisfying ending that is supposed to jerk at your emotions while all it does is make you want to slap the writers.If the film would have stayed on track with the novel ! and had chosen better lead actors, maybe the movie would have been alright. But, as it is, it was an hour and a half of torture. A definite one star....Show more
Barton Morfee: What you are asking people to do is called plagiarism. It is taking credit for other people's work and efforts. It is not a nice thing for a young person or anyone else to do! Why don't you just google Wiki or IMDB and get the synopsis and transcribe the plots into your own words? A little effort on your part will be more rewarding than cheating and using someone else's work.
