Do all jobs require references?

Aldo Decurtis: no.these days they don't want your references unless if they ask you in specific to include them.they want short, straight to the point resumes, so they can skim through them quickly.

Efren Clankscales: I am not aware of any jobs that do not require references. You don't necessarily need to add them to your resume, but you may need to be able to supply upon request. Some online applications will ask you for references in the application, you will (or should) supply them at that time.If you have never had a job before, check with your schools administrative offices, they can probably contact or give you a way to contact teachers who may be able to supply references for you. If you belong to any other groups, such as church groups - the leaders there can write a reference for you as well. Finally, you may need to take a short step back and try doing a little volunteering - if you do a good job, as a student volunteer, you will be able to get reference! s there as well. Finally, sometimes places like Burger King and McD's ask for references but they may not check them. Best of luck to you!...Show more

Curtis Josef: You do not HAVE TO HAVE references in your resume. However, in your resume, you can write down, Reference: Available on request. You can use your school teacher, your coach, your school band partner etc as your reference.

Luke Creitz: the only experience i've ever had was working in the canteen for hospitality
