Joan Stavropoulos: So I know your sistser and she's a good girl, she has a cute face but a huge butt yes I do like ice cream.
Alonso Crehan: History is a humanity course. it contains issues to do with human socialization.
Jestine Osumi: The same question pops up again
Filiberto Amauty: Hello, I'm going to do three things here. I'm going to cheer you on aka admonish you.2. I'm going to answer your question. 3. I'm going to tell you I cant answer your question and tell you how to proceed. And I hope while I am doing these 3 to do 4. Help you to learn to think more clearly, what a clearer question, and be aware of distinctions within what you are asking. Here goes.First thing I did in order ot answer your question is go to the library and look up the word in the dictionary or in the encyclopedia. Since it's the 21th century I did all that right here with Wikipedia. ---> you lazy boy or girl! You might have done that straight off. Taking avantage of other! s is fine. Taking unfair advantage is wrong, unhelpful to the general weal (look that up yourself) and likely to get you trolled. That's the answer when I look at your question through the lens of Attitude #1."The humanities include ancient and modern languages, literature, history, philosophy, religion, and visual and performing arts such as music and theatre. The humanities that are also regarded as social sciences include technology, history, anthropology, area studies, communication studies, cultural studies, law and linguistics." So that's the answer when I look at your question as #2. Yes History is one of the fields under the umbrella of the Humanities. (disclosure: I took no history courses since high school. I took languages and the arts. and one philosophy course)But that's not what you really wanted to know. You want to know what the requirements are at your school. Not only do they want you to take so many units of Humanities they want you to mix it up, thus no! t all history classes. Am I correct? You have to go to their ! catalog or to an advisor at your school and find out. They define things the way they want to and you need to follow that or change to a school whose rules you like better. Or petition for an exception. This all depends on your perceived value and your negotiating skills that set that value. Good luck.I'd think it better for you to think of what you want in your life and how to best enrich yourself. You are paying a lot for school, or someone is or you will be later. There's not a great ROI (look it up) on the University or college. This is your life and you are no longer a child. Whatever you do chooses your path....Show more
Alisa Kaleiwahea: Its kinda like history but humanities is a but music and stuff like mozart and beethoven you will learn about them butyou probably know that. Just saying. I tuck humanities and we also learned a bout michael angelo. So have fun choosing a class hope I helped. :-)
